In short
In Wrong Color, you call out a color and your child points not to that color but to the one that belongs with it on the card. The activity suits kindergartners and only needs a printed sheet. It practices switching your thinking, braking the first impulse and holding an unusual rule in mind.
What you need

How to play
- The card sets the pairs: the orange dot belongs to the yellow hand, the blue dot to the green hand, and so on.
- You call a dot color.
- Your child shows the hand color that belongs to it, not the same color. That conflict is the training.
- Ten calls per round, then pick up the pace.
Make it harder
- Reverse it: you call a hand color, your child names the dot.
- Combine with left and right: “yellow hand, left side”.
- Call two colors in a row.
